Mass Marketing Fraud

No Prize, just Scams

Mass Marketing Fraud is a term used to describe fraud which is carried out through mediums such as mail, telephone, and internet. This type of fraud is becoming a great challenge in the world, especially via the internet. Victims are defrauded in ways such as lottery schemes, fraudulent loan offers, credit card schemes and fraudulent prizes.

If you believe you have become a victim of such crime, you should lodge a complaint to your local police.

To avoid being a victim, here are a few things you should never do:

*Never respond to any kind of offer that  requires anything upfront..
*Never respond to any kind of offer that appears “too good to be true.”
*Never send out your personal information.
*Never respond to any kind of offer that came unsolicited.

*Never rush to respond to anything just because it says it’s “urgent.”
